SHIPPING COORDINATOR

Our client is looking for someone to co-ordinate the despatch of all export consignments, the clearance of all imports and arrange the completion of all relevant documentary requirements. To receive and respond to all enquiries relating to product invoicing, despatch and delivery. Management of all freight invoices for suppliers. To work closely with all departments, customers and external service providers to ensure service levels and customer focus meet agreed Company standards.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:
Educated to a minimum GCSE standard or equivalent.
Good knowledge of maths and the English language are essential.
Experience of Oracle is desirable.
Specialised education in all aspects of Exporting, Logistics, Customs regulations and freight desirable.
Membership of the Institute of Logistics and Transport and/or the Institute of Export Management desirable.

ESTIMATOR

We are urgently looking to recruit an Estimator for our client based in Dover.   

You would be required to:

- Source new materials through placing enquiries for materials with  

   different suppliers.
- Provide accurate and creative cost calculations (to offer different

   costing scenarios)
- Communicate different calculation scenarios clearly
- Communicate and work closely with sales team and designers
- Organise data effectively

What our client is looking for:

- A highly numerate person who is enthusiastic about doing

   calculations and estimates
- Knowledge of Excel (able to do basic formulas and organise data

   effectively, Word and Outlook.
- Good communication skills - verbal and written
- Experience in a packaging environment or previous experience

   within the job roles such as an estimator or similar is desirable, but

   not essential
- Hard working and motivated person who is willing to learn as the

   training on all aspects of box making and packaging will be

   provided.

Special Services Manager (Freight Forwarding)

To work within the account management team of a logistics company based in Sittingbourne.

You should have a background in freight forwarding and own your own transport.  You should also have a good track record of generating income with clients in a multi-modal freight forwarding environment.  You will be an excellent communicator with strong PC skills and a good eye for detail.

Job Summary:

a) Provide timely responses to enquiries for negotiated spot rates for air, land & sea global services;

b) Develop long term partnerships with your own customer portfolio as well as research and develop new suppliers, routes and services as necessary;

c) Provide data and relevant analysis on conversion rates, margin retention and appropriate KPIs;

d) Process customer orders.

Freight Forwarder (Dover)

Our successful client is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and self motivated Freight Forwarder to join their team. The applicant must have a minimum of 2 years freight forwarding experience and seeking a position where you can give your full commitment and dedication to this successful business.
